Tides

The Tides by Holst Garn is a 2-ply blend made of 70 pure wool and 30 silk.e.

A unique knitting yarn, where the silk appears in small tweed pimples dotted in pure wool. Holst Garn's Tides is a beautiful, very soft yarn ideal for knitting or crochet.

Currently available in 10 colors, either in cones of approximately 500 grams or in bulk, in increments of 10 grams.. 

The price listed is for 10 grams of yarn, adjust the quantity as needed.

Weight: about 500 grams per cone
Yardage: 287 m by 50 / grams
Recommended needles: 3 mm to 3.5 mm
Sample: 25 mesh / 10 cm

Double the yarn and use 4mm - 4.5mm needles for a sample 16 stitches / 10 cm

Composition: 70% pure wool and 30 of silk

Origin: Spun and dyed in Denmark

Care: hand wash or machine wash on gentle cycle in cold water

* This wool may contain residues of spinning oil. This will disappear with the first wash which will allow the yarn to swell and soften even more.
